I'm such a terrible student of Latin
I've recently been revisited by the torment of attempting to translate an English phrase into Latin. I felt inspired to render the phrase from the Pirates of the Caribbean series, "Take what you can, give nothing back" into Latin for a graphic. I thought that I had a handle on it, but ended up with gibberish which I then had emblazoned on a t-shirt. At least it wasn't a tattoo. A kind user on Yahoo Answers was kind enough to correct my error, and so now I've repaired the art, and taken a piece of sandpaper to the t-shirt in order to render it illegible by all but the most intrepid reader.
