Starting to exhibit, again
a few more pieces to the show, including some older images, and now those are hanging for the next few weeks.
I mentioned balancing work and play. For Christmas we got the kids a PS2 game console. On it, I have been venting endless frustration via a game called KILLZONE. I spend at least an hour each morning with an online game or two before taking on the day's burdens. It mostly works, too.
Also, I've been at work on the house, installing a theater sound system (we haven't upgraded the television) with 7.1 surround and zone 2 speakers. The speakers are the in-ceiling type from AudioSource, as is the zone 2 amp and subwoofer. We found a good deal on eBay for both amps. The main room amp is an Onkyo TX-SR602. I'm pretty happy with the set-up. At first, I was very apprehensive about what to expect from in-ceiling speakers, but they are not the least bit tinny in sound.
These activities might explain what I've been up to for the last several weeks. I've got a lot more to blog about, but I need to get back to work before I head back home.
